Prakash and Mark asked to remove this.

Comment 1 Geoffrey De Smet 2011-11-30 13:34:15 UTC
After upgrading to Guvnor 5.3 or later, the existing bpel.jar assets of a repository created in Guvnor 5.2 or older, will be listed under "Other assets, documentation".
Since it's not officially supported (nor maintained recently), we expect non of our customers to have such existing bpel.jar assets anyway.

Comment 2 Geoffrey De Smet 2011-11-30 15:30:42 UTC
Note: Before and after the change, creating a bpel.jar file with the designer and opening it with an unzipper doesn't work, but give this exception:

Archive: /tmp/OldyBpel.bpel-2.jar
[/tmp/OldyBpel.bpel-2.jar]
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /tmp/OldyBpel.bpel-2.jar or
/tmp/OldyBpel.bpel-2.jar.zip, and cannot find /tmp/OldyBpel.bpel-2.jar.ZIP, period.

I fear the bpel.jar's might not have worked in any recent release.
