I'm sorry, but I don't understand your bug description and to me your screenshot looks just like it should. What do you mean by "Draw only behind brash window."?

Comment 2 Vladimir 2011-11-24 11:34:34 UTC
When I try to draw anywhere on the screen, nothing happens. It's draw only when pointer on Brush window.

Comment 3 Christoph Wickert 2011-11-24 12:09:48 UTC
When you start the application, what brush is selected? And what mouse cursor do you see - the normal cursor or a one that represents the brush?

I tried to reproduce your problem under GNOME and Xfce and everything is fine. Can you reproduce it with a freshly created user?

Comment 4 Vladimir 2011-11-24 12:42:29 UTC
Start brush is "charcoal".
Cursor is circle.
In freshy user same thing. But under me and fresh user I noticed a new thing. If the cursor leaves the window and at the time the application is launched inside the application window, he draws, is to make your cursor over the window peredly and he stops to paint and draw only if you open any window and draw behind him (ex. Brash window)

Comment 5 Christoph Wickert 2011-12-17 21:10:38 UTC
I'm sorry, I am having problems to understand your decription. How can you leave the window if the application is not yet launched?

Please include simple step-by-step descriptions how to reproduce the problem.

Comment 6 Christoph Wickert 2012-01-09 21:12:35 UTC
Feel free to reopen this bug if you can provide more info. I am still failing to reproduce it. For me everything works fine and the fact that you are having problems with your self-installed version indicates that if there is a problem, it has nothing to do with packaging and thus should reported directly to the MyPaint developers.

I just filed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=860298 which is the same, I think, with:
mypaint-1.0.0-2.fc17.x86_64
gtk2-2.24.11-1.fc17.x86_64
