How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Use xfce as desktop environment

2. Configure Nautilus as the preferred filemanager in Applications->Settings->Preferred Applications

4. Add Places to the panel as a new item.

5. Click on Places->Desktop, or any other menuitem.

Actual results:
Thunar is launched.

Expected results:

Additional info:

I've attached a patch (over the exo-1 related patch currently in the Fedora pacakge) to the upstream bug:

With this patch, the preferred filemanager is correctly launched.

Thanks for the patch.

Comment 3 Christoph Wickert 2012-08-31 21:53:13 UTC
Sorry I never managed to look into this. I wanted to re-do all the patches to have them match the ones in the bug reports instead of just applying yours on top. Then somebody else committed in the meantime and I accidentally deleted all my work and never found the time to do it all again. Anyway, this has now been fixed in 1.4.0. Sorry it took so long.
