Description David Kovalsky 2011-11-25 22:17:59 UTC
I've noticed that after an amount of time my keyboard settings get lost. I have 2 keyboard layouts, US and CZ-qwerty. With SHIFT+CAPS LOCK set as the switch combo.

One of the things that triggers removal of these settings is if I unplug my USB keyboard. And I'm back to the defaults. I can reproduce this 100%.

This also gets triggered if I dock or undock my notebook.

It's pretty uncomfortable since as I don't have a workaround and I have to resetup my keyboard settings several times per day.

xfce4-settings-4.8.3-1.fc16.x86_64
selinux disabled, nothing interesting in /var/log/messages or .xsession-errors

Oh, and I've seen the same behavior in F15, just wasn't able to debug it to a simple reproducer until now :)

Looks like this has already been reported in bug 725083
