Description of problem:
It appears that any changes to folder settings act globally instead of on just that folder.

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Pick a folder
2.  remove the column From
3.  add column To
4.  pick another folder for verification

Actual results:
The From column is gone in the other folder(s)

Expected results:
The other folder(s) should be left intact

Additional info:
This also happens when selecting a different sort order for a folder.

Thanks for a bug report. Uncheck "Edit->preferences->Mail Preferences->Apply the same view settings to all folders" option and it'll start to do what you want. I do not recall when exactly this option had been added, maybe it was in 3.0.x too. Anyway, not a bug, it's a feature.
