Description Vladimir Benes 2011-11-29 17:28:53 UTC
Description of problem:
cannot search neither test plans not test cases from particular environment group.. I would like to see all tests that are automated and belongs to desktop environment.. and again .. manual ones.. and compare those numbers as managers need to see our automation progress and we can also execute runs easily with such possibility

request for both test plans and test runs queries

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Nitrate 3.6.1

In /plans/ and /runs/, don't we already have that? or I am missing something ...

Comment 2 Vladimir Benes 2011-12-02 11:23:59 UTC
I am talking about something else.. this as you've stated above works of course, but for some statistical reasons I need to search all test *cases* that belongs to desktop group. Need to find manual/automated ratio.

It's not clear to me why you cannot do same things via advanced search while you can do them this way via plan and run. This looks really weird. Shouldn't advanced search tool have all functionality possible in one place? Or was the purpose of it different? ;-)

So my request contains two parts:
1. add environment search for test cases
2. add environment search into advanced search tool (all 3 columns)

both of them should be really easy to implement

does this make sense?
cheers,
Vladimir
