Description Stew Benedict 2011-11-29 17:34:06 UTC
Description of problem:

LSB requires:

Pod::Perldoc::ToChecker
Pod::Perldoc::ToMan
Pod::Perldoc::ToNroff
Pod::Perldoc::ToPod
Pod::Perldoc::ToText

which appear to be provided by the perl-Pod-Perldoc package. A recent run of the distribution testsuite on rawhide showed failures due to the absence of these modules. Installing the package mentioned corrected the failures. redhat-lsb should require either the modules or the package that provides them.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.0-8.fc17

How reproducible:

very

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install redhat-lsb on rawhide and run the perl portion of the LSB distribution test suite
2.
3.

Actual results:
several failures

Expected results:
all tests should pass

You can start now because the modules have been put into sub-package of perl.spec (4:5.14.2-202) already:

# repoquery --whatprovides 'perl(Pod::Perldoc::ToMan)' --qf '%{SOURCERPM}/%{NEVRA}'
perl-5.14.2-204.fc17.src.rpm/perl-Pod-Perldoc-0:3.15.04-204.fc17.noarch
