(No answers here, just questions)

Oy vey! We have three different versions of the configserver RPMs in three different repos.

  * http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/aeolus/conductor/latest-release/fedora-15/x86_64/ contains aeolus-configserver-0.4.1-1.fc15.noarch.rpm

  * http://download.lab.bos.redhat.com/rel-eng/CloudForms/CloudEngine/1.0/latest/x86_64/ contains aeolus-configserver-0.4.1-2.el6.noarch.rpm

  * http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/aeolus/conductor/testing/fedora-15/x86_64/ contains aeolus-configserver-0.4.1-3.fc15.noarch.rpm

aeolus-configserver-0.4.1-3.fc15.noarch.rpm is only the RPM version that provides /usr/bin/aeolus-configserver-setup. The previous versions require the additional "-proxy" package to get the "-setup-httpd" script.

I'm not sure what it means to bump what's in "latest-release" or "1.0/latest" to 0.4.1-3. Has 0.4.1-3 been validated?

Comment 2 Joe Vlcek 2011-11-30 19:01:54 UTC
To build a Config Server using the older bits you need to specify
two rpms in the Image Factory TDL.

aeolus-configserver
and
aeolus-configserver-proxy

Also in the older version aeolus-configserver-setup was named
aeolus-configserver-setup-httpd

% rpm2cpio Downloads/aeolus-configserver-proxy-0.4.1-2.el6.noarch.rpm | cpio -tv | grep usr\/bin\/aeolus-configserver-setup-httpd
26 blocks
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root         3811 Nov 17 14:48 ./usr/bin/aeolus-configserver-setup-httpd

In newer version, .3+, the content that had been packaged in
aeolus-configserver-proxy has all been moved into aeolus-configserver

Please let me know if you feel I am wrong but I don't believe this
is a bug with the code. I think it's just an issue of you catching
some rpm content/naming changes

As noted in Comment 2 I don't believe this is a bug.

Can this BZ be closed?
