Any update/report on this? My sleuthing is not coming up with much. Could you try 0.11.5-2 in rawhide please. Created attachment 84446 [details]
This is the perl script I use to generate the PDB file (bibelot)...
Here's the step by step of my latest attempt: $ rpm -q pilot-link pilot-link-0.11.5-2 $ makepdb.pl quips > quips.pdb $ pilot-xfer -p /dev/ttyS0 -i quips.pdb Listening to port: /dev/ttyS0 Please press the HotSync button now... Connected Unable to open 'quips.pdb'! Time elapsed: 0:00:04 I will be adding an strace output attachment of the pilot-xfer process. Created attachment 84447 [details]
strace of the pilot-xfer process...
Could you please try to reproduce this problem with the devel version of pilot-link (pilot-link-0.11.8-16). Red Hat Linux is no longer supported by Red Hat, Inc. If you are still running Red Hat Linux, you are strongly advised to upgrade to a current Fedora Core release or Red Hat Enterprise Linux or comparable. Some information on which option may be right for you is available at http://www.redhat.com/rhel/migrate/redhatlinux/. Closing as CANTFIX. |
