Description David Jaša 2011-12-06 09:50:42 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #743227 +++

Description of problem:
When changing hostname or IP of host, error pops up that the host must be reinstalled with just 'close' button, effectively forcing administrator to remove host entry and add it again.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
ic142

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install host, put it to maintenance mode
2. change network address of host
3. change 'Address:' field of host in RHEV-M admin GUI host edit dialog
4. hit ok
5. Error dialog pops up saying:
"Host Address can not be modified due to Security restrictions. in order to change Host Address, Host has to be reinstalled"

Actual results:
Error dialog only offers 'close' button that returns one to edit dialog without any possibility to edit & reinstall host

Expected results:
Offer 'Apply and Reinstall' button that would change host address and reinstall it
