If you would like it considered as an exception in the current release, please ask your support representative. Yeah, that's the kind of bug those tests are designed to provoke. This report doesn't include hardware details (or OS details), so it's not workable as is. As far as I know the 6.3 kernel should pass all the tests in intel-gpu-tools. If it doesn't, please file individual reports for the failing platform and test combinations. |
Created attachment 541607 [details] snapshot of the panicking kernel Description of problem: Trying to make intel-gpu-tools tests working (for QA), but the results are not fortunate: - when trying to run make check in BUILD/intel* directory, I've got kernel panic after running an hour+ at 200% CPU (the computer is dual core; see attached snapshot of the kernel panic), - second time after the similar time at 200% CPU I got completely black display no matter I what I've tried so I have switched the computer via power off switch. I have stdout/stderr of the running make check. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): intel-gpu-tools-20110628 How reproducible: see above
