How and why did you install the Python sub-package in a different version? Which Python sub-package you mean , qgis-python ?
I have tested qgis-1.7.1-1.fc15 in combination
with qgis-python-1.7.1-1.fc15 from updates repo in then
qgis-1.7.2-1.fc15 with
qgis-python-1.7.2-1.fc15 from updates-testing repo
Oh, sorry, I misread. The problem is caused by a problem with sip and QGIS will need a rebuild for F15: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=755355 The build system is down at the moment, so I can't rebuild right now. qgis-1.7.3-1.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/qgis-1.7.3-1.fc15 qgis-1.7.3-1.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/qgis-1.7.3-1.fc16 Package qgis-1.7.3-1.fc15: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 15 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing qgis-1.7.3-1.fc15' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2011-16979/qgis-1.7.3-1.fc15 then log in and leave karma (feedback). It works for me. Thanks. I confirm that with qgis-1.7.3-1.fc15 from testing repo qgis is now back to working. Thanks qgis-1.7.3-1.fc15 has been pushed to the Fedora 15 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. qgis-1.7.3-1.fc16 has been pushed to the Fedora 16 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
