OpenOCD 0.5.0 was released in August 2011:
http://openocd.sourceforge.net/2011/08/openocd-v0-5-0-released/
with support for more JTAG interface hardware and target microprocessors.

I'd like to see the openocd package in Fedora be updated to pick up these new features.

Package openocd-0.5.0-1.fc16:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing openocd-0.5.0-1.fc16'
as soon as you are able to.
