Thanks for reporting this bug. What did you do when glista crashed? Are you able to reproduce the crash reliably?

I get this error every time I start up the server.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I just retired this package. It is crashing for quite a while now and upstream is unresponsive. I filed bug reports at
http://code.google.com/p/glista/issues/detail?id=43 and
http://code.google.com/p/glista/issues/detail?id=44 
more than a year ago and even though they were accepted, nothing happened. There have been no changes to the code for nearly 2 years now and I cannot maintain a dead program.
