[Migrated from savannah BTS] - bug 24074 [https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?24074]

Fri 15 Aug 2008 04:34:02 PM GMT, original submission by Anonymous:

The problem only comes up on my PS3/Linux system. When I mount a glusterfs volume over the network, I can't list any files (ls or ls -l exits with the error: Input/output Error.). But I can execute commands such as touch, cp, cd

The kernel is cell-sources 2.6.24 from gentoo. It is running in 64bit whereas the userland is running 32bit. I already tried to use the patched fuse, but it didn't help.

The configuration is still fairly simple: one server xx.0.1 with several clients.

I attach glusterfs.log from the client after mounting the volume and executing ls once in the mounted volume.

Regards,
Bertrand

Bertrand,
Can you tell us if your glusterfs & libfuse are 32-bit or 64-bit?

Regards,
Gowda

I have still this bug with a pure 64bit server and a pure 32bit client

Comment 2 Sebastian Thomae 2014-04-08 12:04:46 UTC
both have gluster version 3.4.2 and fuse version 2.9.3

Please open a new bug [1], closed bugs are not actively monitored. In the new bug, explain what the exact issue (misbehaviour, errors, ..) is that you see. It would be helpful if you can write some commands that can be used to reproduce this.
