Description Harshavardhana 2009-11-09 06:14:35 UTC
Testing was done on Gluster Storage Platform

By manually sending "SIGHUP" glusterfs never used to
refresh the logfile unless it used to open the same
file with append mode.

Patch sent for reviews to fix this issue.

I just did a git pull, and noticed I don't have this patch included in that.. but both patchwork, and bugs show its committed.. Avati can you have a look on it??

[2009-11-13 12:49:53] C [logging.c:78:gf_log_logrotate] logrotate: rename failed for str.log -> str.log-20091113 (No such file or directory)

Noticed that this feature (and also the previous logrotate) doesn't work for 'relative' path log files. Works fine for log files with absolute path. No need to hurry on the fix.. but is nice to have working logrotate for this case too..
