Description Balamurugan Arumugam 2010-03-07 01:55:25 UTC
Platform uses disk labels to identify data disk partitions. This needs to be replaced by providing full UUID support.

Comment 1 Harshavardhana 2010-03-11 07:37:27 UTC
Installation already supports UUID based "root" fs. Now initrd pulls in UUID and creates respective "rootdev" before switching to root during boot.

New code being added to dynamically proper disks and mount them while not updating fstab.

Fixed in 3.1 resolving here.
