Description Kunthar 2010-03-18 09:38:59 UTC
Glustersp uses C $LANG

All files are
file -i /tmp/transport.log
/tmp/transport.log: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

file -i /var/www/html/includes/language/en.ini.php
/var/www/html/includes/language/en.ini.php: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

us-ascii

Different languages (interface messages, logs etc. ) can not be supported this way. All system parts, ejabberd, python and glusterweb php *MUST* be in UTF-8

Please let me know why you've decided to go with "C" lang. Because of xml conversion?
I have started to convert all parts to utf-8. Tell me if any big stopper on this. Then i will give up for this work.

We are in 3.0.5 development which removes ejabberd and good amount of change in python code. You can convert /var/www/html/includes/language/en.ini.php into utf-8.
