Description Craig Carl 2010-04-07 21:14:02 UTC
The .iso.README file should be replaced with something like this -

-----------------------------
The .iso file is provided for use as install media in virtulized environments. It is not intended to be used to burn CD's as physical installation media.

If you are going to install the Gluster Storage platform onto a physical machine use the .img file instead. Check the .img.README file for instructions.
-----------------------------

We need to add a .img.README file -

-----------------------------
Use the .img file to install the Gluster Storage Platform onto a physical server using a USB drive.

WARNING: This process will erase the USB device!

Insert the USB stick, find its mount point, usually at /dev/sd<something>

run "dd if=Gluster-3.0.3.img of=/dev/sd<something> bs=1M"
-----------------------------
