We have already added that Gluster recommends/support Ext4. The following information is added in "File System Requirements" section: Gluster recommends Ext4 (for Linux kernel >= 2.6.31 or CentOS >= 5.4) and Ext3 (for all earlier versions) when formatting the disk sub-system. Any other POSIX compliant disk file system, such as ReiserFS may also work, but has not been tested widely. Please let me know the specific information that has to be added to this section. Closing the bug as we have already documented Ext4 support in "File System Requirements" section. |
