Description of problem:
I think it will be fine to have recommendation for customers in 
13.1.2.3. Configuring Red Hat High Availability in Grid User Guide.

Something like:

Use of multicast on reserved network interface in your cluster configuration can speed up recovering of node from failures, starting of HA scheduler service in cluster,...

Example of configuration:
<multicast addr="224.0.0.1"/>    in section cman in /etc/cluster/cluster.conf

and 
<fence_xvmd debug="10" multicast_interface="eth1"/> as example for fencing in cluster with nodes running in virtualization.
