Description of problem: I am trying to create a RHEL 6.2 clone of my current RHN Satellite base v. 6 channels but the current version of package "spacewalk-remote-utils" does not provide support for /usr/share/rhn/channel-data/6-u2-* Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): spacewalk-remote-utils-1.0.2-8.el5sat.noarch.rpm How reproducible: By executing the spacewalk-create-channel command specifying --version 6 --update u2 the utility fails with the following error message. Error: data file '6-u2-server-x86_64' does not exist spacewalk-create-channel -l {rhn_sat_account} --server {rhn_sat_server} --password {rhn_sat_password} --version 6 --update u2 --release Server --arch x86_64 --sourceChannel=rhel-x86_64-server-6 --destChannel=clone-rhel-x86_64-server-6 --name=clone (v. 6 for 64-bit x86_64) --clone Also by looking at the contents of rpm spacewalk-remote-utils-1.0.2-8.el5sat.noarch.rpm (Build Date: 2011-08-03) you can see that only 6-u1 is found. strings /var/satellite/redhat/NULL/d82/spacewalk-remote-utils/1.0.2-8.el5sat/noarch/d8202fc8ccf0d1c4ba89d63b1de1aa70/spacewalk-remote-utils-1.0.2-8.el5sat.noarch.rpm |grep 6-u 6-u1-client-i386 6-u1-client-i386-Supplementary 6-u1-client-x86_64 6-u1-client-x86_64-Supplementary 6-u1-computenode-x86_64 6-u1-computenode-x86_64-Supplementary 6-u1-server-i386 6-u1-server-i386-Supplementary 6-u1-server-ppc64 6-u1-server-ppc64-Supplementary 6-u1-server-s390x 6-u1-server-s390x-Supplementary 6-u1-server-x86_64 6-u1-server-x86_64-Supplementary 6-u1-workstation-i386 6-u1-workstation-i386-Supplementary 6-u1-workstation-x86_64 6-u1-workstation-x86_64-Supplementary Steps to Reproduce: 1. execute the spacewalk-create-channel command and specify --version 6 --update u2 2. 3. Actual results: Error: data file '6-u2-server-x86_64' does not Expected results: Successful clone of the sourceChannel Additional info:
