Description Doug Hutcheson 2011-12-14 01:00:41 UTC
SELinux is preventing /var/lib/boinc/projects/climateprediction.net/hadam3p_saf_6.09_i686-pc-linux-gnu from 'read' accesses on the file /etc/resolv.conf.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that hadam3p_saf_6.09_i686-pc-linux-gnu should be allowed read access on the resolv.conf file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep hadam3p_saf_6.0 /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Comment 1 Doug Hutcheson 2011-12-14 01:05:57 UTC
I let boinc run in background at all times, running only the climate prediction app.

This alert was raised shortly after bringing the system out of 'suspend'.

I ran the commands suggested by the SELinux alert message, to temporarily solve the problem.

Comment 2 Miroslav Grepl 2011-12-14 09:56:53 UTC
I am backporting changes from F16.
