This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '16'. Created attachment 546698 [details] Example GTK window with oxygen-gtk-1.1.5-1 installed Description of problem: When running GTK apps as root user under KDE, the theme is not applied. This appears to be because 1.1.5 is now compiled with option to build KDE icons and fonts disabled. Downgrading to 1.1.4, or re-compiling with the above enabled solves the issue. There might have been a good reason to remove this, but I'm not sure. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): oxygen-gtk-1.1.5-1.fc16 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Ensure 1.1.5-1 version is installed 2. Run a GTK app as root, such as system-config-authentication Actual results: Window does not have KDE theme applied, default icons and theme. Expected results: Window should have KDE theme applied, and look more integrated. Additional info: The root user should have a .gtkrc-2.0 file (from This also affects firstboot, if users have done an update prior to initial boot.
