This shows the exact screen I am talking about.
I have a working patch for this issue. atorodov, This is similar to bug #758106, which you also gave a qa_ack+ to. This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release. It is the same also in the 'Configure iSCSI Parameters' dialog (have patches for both) I went through most GUI dialogs in anaconda (anaconda-11.1.2.250-1), as advised in comment 0, and found some more dialogs that need to be fixed to behave correctly when the Esc key is pressed: 1. "Installation Number" dialog: Esc behaves the same way as clicking on "OK" button. Dialogs from custom partitioning: 2. "RAID Options" dialog 3. "Make RAID Device" dialog 4. "Edit RAID Device" dialog 5. dialog that appears after selecting "Clone a drive to create a RAID device" 6. "Make LVM Volume Group" dialog 7. "Edit LVM Volume Group" dialog 8. "Make Logical Volume" dialog 9. "Edit Logical Volume" dialog Dialogs on the boot loader configuration screen: 10. Add 11. Edit 12. Change Password 13. Editing network interface ("Edit Interface" dialog) - ESC doesn't close the dialog window Moving to ASSIGNED. Per discussion with Vratislav, I'm moving this bug to VERIFIED. New bug 773573 has been created to fix issues found in comment 8. Alex: I will check RHEL6. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2012-0197.html |
