This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '16'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 16's end of life. Upstream has released 0.5.0, which is nearly completely rewritten, and now uses cmake rather than autoconf. I've got an RPM of 0.5.0 nearly ready to go. I should have an RPM 0.5.0 to submit for update testing within a week or so. pam_abl-0.5.0-2.fc19 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 19. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/pam_abl-0.5.0-2.fc19 An RPM of version 0.5.0 has been pushed to rawhide, and updates pushed to testing for F19 and EPEL6. Since 0.5.0 is a substantial rewrite, it is possible that the configuration file (/etc/security/pam_abl.conf) may need to be modified, and the database (files in /var/lib/abl) deleted to force a new database to be created. I am pushing this to F19 despite that, because as far as I can tell, the previous version (0.2.3) was not actually working in F19. Package pam_abl-0.5.0-2.fc19: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 19 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing pam_abl-0.5.0-2.fc19' as soon as you are able to. Created attachment 547483 [details] f16-compatible spec file Please consider updating pam_abl to upstream's most recent (almost two year old) release 0.4.1. The attached spec file adjusts to upstream's switch to autoconf, but still needs some minor patches for paths, samples, etc.
