Description Saurabh 2011-12-19 13:44:36 UTC
Description of problem:

Presently in order use swift and swift-plugin we are trying to use same /etc/swift/swift.conf and trying to update the parameter,
Enable_plugin = yes/no

according to me when using original swift we should use the same /etc/swift/swift.conf as mentioned by openstack, since we are using the other *.conf files from original swift.

Toggling with yes/no for this parameter may add to confusion.

requesting the dev to put the description for qualifying this bug as "ON_QA"

Comment 2 Junaid 2012-06-12 05:53:41 UTC
By default the Gluster-swift plugin uses GlusterFS as the storage backend but it can also be configured to behave as openstack. To distinguish between these two cases we added the parameter.
