Description of problem: Calling certain python cairo functions causes a MemoryError. Context::text_extents() is one of them. text_path() is another. An easy way to reproduce this bug is to run the "warpedtext.py" example program shipped with the "pycairo" package. $ /usr/share/doc/pycairo-1.8.6/examples/warpedtext.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/doc/pycairo-1.8.6/examples/warpedtext.py", line 71, in <module> ctx.text_path("pycairo - " + "spam " * 5) MemoryError Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): pycairo-1.8.6-2.1.el6.x86_64 How reproducible: happens every time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run the "/usr/share/doc/pycairo-1.8.6/examples/warpedtext.py" script. Expected results: The script should work and not throw a MemoryError.
