Comment 4 Yvugenfi@redhat.com 2011-12-27 09:37:57 UTC
It seams that the problem caused by our driver reporting 10G link speed. In order to report 10G - 64bit value should be used. It causes OID test to fail on older OSes.

I am not sure if those are all the failures and why rest of the test did not run.

I will provide the fix with for the first issue and when we can see if this failure caused the tests not to run or there are additional issues (currently they are not detected through the provided logs).

Hi Yan,

the other test jobs have passed in another submission, for investigating this issue, I used a fresh installed image and only ran this one job.

Dawn

Thanks! In this case I will provide complete solution without intermediate release.

In any case in the future please indicate exact job (sub-test case) that failed if you know it. NDISTest6.0 has many test cases inside.

Test drivers are in: \\smamit.eng.lab.tlv.redhat.com\win-team\Public\Yan\WHQL\Install-01.01.2012\XP

If the test can run with these drivers, I will commit the changes and release official build.

Hi Yan,

I have tried this drive from \smamit.eng.lab.tlv.redhat.com\win-team\Public\Yan\WHQL\Install-01.01.2012\XP , test can run without any error and the whole Job of "Ethernet NDISTest6.0" passed now, I will try more times to make sure this job can pass with the changed driver 100%.

Best Regards,
Dawn

Hi Yan,

I have tried 5 times on win2k3-32 and 3 times on 2k3-64, all passed without any error, so we will wait for your new driver.

Best Regards,
Dawn
