Description of problem:
create image in NFS, boot guest with nfs image attached as second disk. stop/cont guest many times during copy big file to second disk, the second disk shows i/o error and guest stop. if create image on lvm and local file then guest work fine, it doesn't work in NFS.  I tested only win2008r2 and rhel4.9 guest.

1.mount -o soft,timeo=1 ip:/home /mnt

3.copy big file to second disk

4.stop/cont guest
  
Actual results:

VM status: paused

Expected results:
guest work well

Additional info:
virtio and ide disk have the same issue, stop/cont about 40 times.

this issue is nfs only, if set timeo=10 or 60 int step 1, guest works normally.

according to comment2,since timeout=1 is too short,lead to qemu shows i/o error, it works as design, close this bug.
