Description Steven Usdansky 2011-12-21 12:47:51 UTC
Description of problem: Normally, when I start my LXDE desktop, an icon for pnmixer is displayed in the system tray on the panel adjacent to the nm-applet icon, due to the presence of /etc/xdg/autostart/pnmixer.desktop. With
glibc-2.14.90-25.fc17.x86_64, all I see is a blank space wherethe icon should be

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.14.90-25.fc17.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot computer
2. run startx
3.

Actual results:
no pnmixer icon in system tray

Expected results:
pnmixer icon in system tray

Additional info: Executing /usr/bin/pnmixer from a run dialog or terminal window causes a pnmixer icon to be placed in the system tray adjacent to the blank area.
Reverting to glibc-2.14.90-23.fc17.x86_64 fixed the problem for me.
