Description Josh Stone 2011-12-21 22:13:24 UTC
Description of problem:
I noticed that I wasn't getting any id-mapping from NFS on a rawhide client. The NFS server is F16, and F15/16 clients work just fine.

I discovered that the nfs-idmap service is removed in rawhide, and there's the new file /etc/request-key.d/id_resolver.conf. But I didn't have any package installed to make use of that. It's handled by the "keyserver" package, so I think that should be required by nfs-utils. With keyserver installed, id mapping now works fine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libnfsidmap-0.25-0.fc17.x86_64
nfs-utils-1.2.5-8.fc17.x86_64

I meant "keyutils" here -- at least I got it right in the subject.
