Description lejeczek 2011-12-22 16:35:40 UTC
Description of problem:

apologies but wasn't sure which component/group this bug should be in
everything seems ok with fedora's open driver, but when catalyst is installed from rpmfusion.org gnome-shell suffers occasional crashes but firstly displayed screen is distorted most of the time, to an extent that it's useless.

I have an external LED tv hooked up but MultiDisplay tab in ATI app is not
available, cannot change no setting there.

Having external LED disconnected does not help.

Actually even runlevel 3 seems affected.

I've also let rpmfusion know - https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2102

Fedora doesn't support out of tree modules. The rpmfusion bug is the right place to report this issue.
