Description of problem:
when i'm listening music using audacious. I go to console 3 to start some python program or even just switch to other console. And when i switch back to gnome which is console 1 it's trapped. 
the whole is trapped that's to say music stopped, black screen etc.. some times few minus later it would come back, some times it dead there.

I'm not quite sure, all are updated to date by default tool.
that's to say fedora 16 gnome 3 etc.
How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.in gnome starting a music
2.press alt+ctrl+f3.
3.press alt+ctrl+f1
  
Actual results:
trapped

Expected results:
smooth switch, no trap, no black screen

Fedora 16 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-02-12. Fedora 16 is 
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further 
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of 
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
