Description of problem:
since updating to 9.0 edit -> find -> search messages is greyed out and clicking does not help.
shift-ctrl-f does still work though. (!!)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
thunderbird-9.0-4.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:
upgarde to fedora 16, apply yum updates religiously

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start thunderbird
2. view inbox
3. choose edit -> find -> search messages
  
Actual results:
greyed out search messages

Expected results:
functional menu

Can you check it in safe mode? (thunderbird -safe-mode).

I cannot reproduce this issue now; in the mean time TB was upgraded to 11.
