How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install RHEL 5.8-snapshot-2.0(Xen) and register to candlepin.
2.Install some guests(PV & HVM) on the host,and keep the guests are running
3.Configure virt-who.
# vi /etc/sysconfig/virt-who
VIRTWHO_BACKGROUND=1 (enable debugging)
VIRTWHO_DEBUG=1 (run in background)
4.Restart the virt-who service in terminal1.
# service virt-who restart
Stopping virt-who:                                         [  OK  ]
Starting virt-who: Virt-who is running in libvirt mode

Comment 1 Radek Novacek 2012-01-02 10:38:11 UTC
Why should virt-who report paused states? Only list of existing virtual machines (state doesn't matter, it's not even sent) is important.

Comment 2 Keqin Hong 2012-01-03 14:47:57 UTC
Hi Radek,
I agree with you that virt-who should not report paused states.

The point mentioned in comment 0 is I guess that it would be better to have a pause EVENT reported in debug info when vm is paused. It doesn't mean to send paused states to entitlement server.

pls see the lines below the Expected results in comment 0.
Hope this clarifies you question above.

Regards,
Keqin

This bug is in the debugging output only and doesn't affect function of the program. I'm closing it as WONTFIX for now. It might be fixed in some future release of virt-who.
