*** Bug 771514 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 783852 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This bug is not related to xorg-x11-drv-intel but to the kernel i915 kms stuff. (It also occurs before X has started, and it doesn't occur with nomodeset) It also doesn't happen with a vanilla kernel (tried with http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/thl/kernel-vanilla-stable/fedora-16/i386/kernel-3.2.2-1.2.vanilla.knurd.fc16.i686.rpm) , so this is probably a side effect of one of the fedora patches. This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '16'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 16's end of life.
