Hello, We think you may have hit an existing issue. Can you please install the following kernel and kernel-firmware test RPMs? http://people.redhat.com/dwysocha/test/RHEL6/bz769626-pcie-aspm/kernel-2.6.32-220.el6.sf574687.1.x86_64.rpm http://people.redhat.com/dwysocha/test/RHEL6/bz769626-pcie-aspm/kernel-firmware-2.6.32-220.el6.sf574687.1.noarch.rpm Remember to remove the "pcie_aspm=off" from the kernel commandline of the test kernel in /etc/grub/grub.conf to ensure a valid test. Please let us know if this test kernel resolves the issue for you. Thanks. seems to working but it's only turn out after a few days... Hi Levente, So are you confirming that you've removed the "pcie_aspm=off" from the kernel command line, and that the kernel provided here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=770675#c2 works for you without the need for "pcie_aspm=off"? Thanks. unfortunately it's not happened always, so it's very hard to confirm. this happened with one of our supermicro motherboards. it's 4 servers in production so we're unable to test on it. the other is the asus p4b55d board with integrated RTL8111. i test it on this one and seems to working ie. after the upgrade and a few days it's no longer happened... Since RHEL 6.3 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Hi Levente, Are you comfortable saying this is resolved, or is there further action needed on this problem? The fix for the existing issue I mentioned previously (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=770675#c2) should in a kernels 2.6.32-279.el6 and above. Thanks. fixed. thanks. fixed. thanks. |
