Description Christopher Beland 2011-12-28 15:38:42 UTC
1. Firefox is open with tab Title 1.
2. Go to Evolution and click on URL of page with Title 2.
3. Firefox loads page 2.
4. Pop-up notification appears at the bottom of the screen saying "Firefox: Title 1 is ready". It should say "Firefox: Title 2 is ready."

I *think* this was working properly in Fedora 15, but I no longer have it installed to test.

firefox-9.0-3.fc16.x86_64
gnome-shell-3.2.1-2.fc16.x86_64

Yup, that's true. Taking...

I'm afraid this is a feature, not a bug. When window requests focus in Gnome shell it only shows popup notification of the window title. Firefox request window focus as soon as possible and gnome shell use it's current window title. Then firefox starts to load page (which could take more time). I think we don't want to mess into this.
