Description Guohua Ouyang 2011-12-29 09:42:50 UTC
Description of problem:
Currently, there are five buttons in case edit window, "Save", "Save and Continue editing", "Save and edit next enabled case in plan 4820", "Reset", "Back", no "Save and return to plan" isn't much convenient to return to test plan after finishing edit one.

Propose below:

1. Button "Save" just replace "Save and Continue editing", keep its continue editing function.
2. Reduce the length "Save and edit next enabled case in plan 4820" to "Save and Edit next case"
3. Add a button "Save and Return to plan".

So it would look likes below:
"Save" "Save and Return to plan" "Save and Edit next case" "Reset" "Back"

Additional info:
Add new case have the button "Save and Return to plan".

why no update since so long, it's really very inconvenient to edit/update test case in a plan due to this.

This bug has been fixed. please verify in version 3.8.0

Since there is still some difference between "Save" button and "Save and Continue editing",considering user behaviour and consistence with new case window, these two buttons will remain. So it would look like below:
"Save" "Save and continue editing" "Save and return to plan" "Save and edit next case" "Reset" "Back"

Verify 3.8.0-1 on stage --->Pass

Verify steps:
1.Create a new case
2.Check the button on the bottom of page

Actual result:
"Save" "Save and continue editing" "Save and return to plan" "Save and edit another" "Reset"
