It's documented in manual. Namely in the chapter "Invoking grub-crypt". Not to be a pain but can you please give me a link for that, because all I am finding in "Invoking grub-md5-crypt" which as the name implies doesn't cover the SHA part of this. -Erinn From the Fedora/RHEL patch for sha: +@item --md5 +Use MD5 for password encryption. +@item --sha-256 +Use SHA-256 for password encryption. +@item --sha-512 +Use SHA-512 for password encryption.
