Description Thomas Meyer 2012-01-06 18:22:36 UTC
Description of problem:

start evolution for the first time and
1.) create an imap account with option "check incoming mails for junk" set (which is sadly the default).

2.) fetch mails from INBOX and several other imap folder.

3.) unset the check incoming mails for junk option, which is the default (so sad!) it seems as the mails that were already put in the junk folder stay there! autch!

4.) see the mails still being in the junk folder. the problem is that the emails are not really in this folder, on the mail server the emails are still in the original folder!

how do I get the messages back in the folder, where they belong and physically are stored?

how do I stop evolution from messing with my mail in folder sorting?

evolution version 3.2.2-1.fc16

Just mark the junk messages as "Not Junk".

Everything you describe is per design. Closing as NOTABUG.
