Description Ian Collier 2012-01-06 18:47:37 UTC
Description of problem:

If a program calls malloc_usable_size() then when it's linked against libefence the function may return 0, or segfault if EF_PROTECT_BELOW is defined.

This isn't necessarily important, except some glibc calls use it behind the scenes, and:

$ ef /bin/sh

sh: nss_nis/nis-netgrp.c:75: _nss_nis_setnetgrent: Assertion `malloc_usable_size (netgrp->data) >= len + 1' failed.
