With Fedora 17 D feature come so i think it should be really nice to add this patch and ping again upstream:

Sorry. My mistake.
I read the bug report in the middle in the night, and didn't notice it was against cgdb.

Please accept my apology for the misunderstanding.

Have you tried contacting upstream on the cgdb-devel mailing list?
In my experience the developer is very cooperative.

... If the patch looks OK by him, by the looks of it, I don't see a reason not to include in the next release/patch-release of cgdb.
