I have added a step for editing the jmx-console-users.properties file after consulting James Livingston. I have also moved the "Disabling Authentication" section so that it's not in the middle of *Enabling* Authentication. Having committed those changes I now need to wait for the document to be re-Brew-ed. Description of problem: Incomplete documentation. I think in chapter 2.1.4 ("Users and Roles") a vital further step is missing. In the file JBOSS_HOME/server/PROFILE/conf/props/jmx-console-roles.properties permissions must be granted to the users entered in JBOSS_HOME/server/PROFILE/conf/props/jmx-console-users.properties analogical to step 3 for the file web-console-roles.properties ("username=JBossAdmin,HttpInvoker"). Leaving this out, the Admin Console does not appear after entering the proper credentials in the Admin Console login page.
