following files cannot be displayed in firefox/gimp:

server/all/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/logo.gif
server/production/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/logo.gif

The logo in the default config works fine fo me:
server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/logo.gif

Look at the tomcat status display for the GA release - see the attached screen shot for the embedded/production server.

Could this be happening only on certain linux distros?  It's not happening on Windows.

fixed in trunk.  gif file was passing through a text filter in the build.

Verified fixed in CP01 on standalone/default and embedded/all and production.
