Description Jay Balunas 2008-04-08 14:10:12 UTC
Affects: Documentation (Ref Guide, User Guide, etc.), Compatibility/Configuration
Date of First Response: 2008-04-08 10:55:49
project_key: SOA

The examples in the documentation "jboss-soa-p.4.2.0/docs/eap/jboss-eap-4.3/doc/examples/gettingstarted/lib" package an older version of the seam jars.

Version with documentation:
1.2.0.PATCH1

Version in $DIST/seam
1.2.1.EAP_4.3

To avoid long term maintenance the example should probably pull from the seam that is provided in the dist - not package its own (my $.02).

Comment 3 Jay Balunas 2008-04-08 16:24:33 UTC
Reduced priority because the issue is really in EAP not SOA-P

Comment 4 Joshua Wulf 2008-04-14 06:47:48 UTC
I'm discussing with Vinu, the EAP docs lead, what to do about this.

Comment 6 Jay Balunas 2008-04-15 13:36:40 UTC
This can probably be closed as long as EAP 4.3.GA_CP01 is packaged into SOA-P 4.2.GA_CP02. The fix for this is part of that release.

Comment 7 Mark Little 2008-04-15 14:05:06 UTC
Changed the Affects field because you can't have an Affects on something that we haven't released yet!

Comment 8 Jay Balunas 2008-04-15 14:11:04 UTC
I don't understand the last comment. What should we state for an "affects version" when testing a specific unreleased version and it is not a problem with the previous version?
