We simply need to document what examples do run with "minimal". This is expected since we removed parts of the ESB/SOA-P in order to slim the configuration. Ideally we'd update the base-build.xml to check the configuration and tell the user that ant deploy/ant run/ant runtest will not work for the minimal configuration.

We have to be sure to differentiate between the JBossAS "mininal" configuration and the SOA-P server configuration where the user is able to "slim down" the configuration by removing the services defined here:   https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/SOA-577?focusedCommentId=12416761#action_12416761

The "minimal" configuration as shipped with the JBossAS server cannot support running any ESB quickstarts. Its /deploy directory is empty.

I didn't understand that the "minimal" config referred to was a modification of the ESB deployment, not a JBossAS config.  

Creating clarifying content now.

The following QuickStarts have been noted to not work when the specified optional or otherwise replaceable core services of the SOA Platform are not deployed.
