We can remove the "2.1.2 Configuring a development profile" OR at least make a note that it is less necessary in SOA-P 4.3 where we now have a working "default" profile out of the box that is developer friendly.

Is this in the ESB docs or just the SOA-P docs?

Just the SOA-P docs.

I think I'll strip that bit down to basically saying that if you need to create another profile for developer use they should create of a copy of 'default'
