Description Ondrej Skutka 2008-10-23 13:29:02 UTC
Date of First Response: 2008-10-23 12:26:23
project_key: SOA

When running helloworld_db_registration quickstart according to its readme.txt (and deploy-jms-dests && ant runtest), it fails. This readme should contain correct sequence for quickstart execution. see JBESB-2145

Comment 2 Len DiMaggio 2008-10-23 16:26:23 UTC
Just to be certain:

The readme file is incorrect.

And...

The quickstart runs cleanly if the tasks are performed in the correct order - correct?

Comment 3 Kevin Conner 2008-10-23 17:15:57 UTC
What is missing?

  1. In a command terminal window in the quickstart folder type
     'ant deploy-jms-dests'.
  2. In a command terminal window in this folder ("Window1"), type 'ant run'.
  3. Open another command terminal window in this folder ("Window2"), type
     'ant runtest'.

Does the SOA platform overwrite this?

Comment 4 Kevin Conner 2008-10-24 10:46:35 UTC
I have changed the dependent issue to remove this quickstart.

The documentation is correct.

Comment 5 Kevin Conner 2008-10-24 10:57:12 UTC
The quickstart has been removed from the CP codebase as its sole purpose was to demonstrate a reconfigured jUDDI database, something that would need to be done before running.

Comment 6 Jehudi Castro Sierra 2009-01-09 16:52:11 UTC
the QS is also in 4.2 CP3

Comment 7 Kevin Conner 2009-01-12 09:11:47 UTC
Link: Added: This issue related SOA-1120

Comment 8 Kevin Conner 2009-01-12 09:12:38 UTC
I have created SOA-1120 to cover the 4.2CP stream

Comment 9 Len DiMaggio 2009-02-20 16:24:58 UTC
Verified fixed in 4.3 CP01 CR2 - the quickstart has been removed.

Comment 10 Dana Mison 2009-03-11 07:37:44 UTC
Release Note:
The helloworld_db_registration quickstart has been removed.
